Fudgy Tahini Brownies (Dairy Free)
These Fudgy Tahini Brownies are going to give you life. A little crispy on the edges, and so ooey and gooey in the middle, these brownies are a chocolate lovers dream come true. As someone who is a brownie connoisseur, of sorts...I can definitely vouch for these.
I’ve been wanting to try baking with tahini, simply because I love tahini and to mix things up from my usual nut butter options. And it did NOT disappoint! Together with the melted chocolate and coconut oil, it keeps the brownies so moist and the perfect amount of chewy. Not to mention, they’re dairy free and sweetened using only the chocolate chunks and coconut sugar. A little bit of instant coffee really brings out the chocolate flavor the best way.
Brownies have always been a favorite treat of mine. I’ve always been able to put back an unspeakable amount of those delicious chocolaty squares. There are pictures of me as a small child with a plate PILED full of brownies. And honestly, not much has changed. However, while I can house a tray of brownies like the best of them, I don’t like to eat just any brownies. They have to be gooey, moist, and finger-licking good. Like lick the crumbs off my plate good. So when I say these are gooooood, you know I mean it.
These brownies are seriously so rich, fudgy, and decadent. The extra drizzle of chocolate on top is really just the perfect finishing touch. Be sure to eat one while they’re still warm and extra gooey, and before everyone else in your household gets ahold of them!

Fudgy Tahini Brownies (Dairy Free)
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 20-23 minutes
Total time: 30 minutes
Serves: 16
Ingredients
For the Brownies:
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup dairy free dark chocolate chunks (I use Enjoy Life because they’re free from emulsifiers)
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 cup tahini
2 eggs
1/2 cup coconut sugar
2 tsp instant coffee
1 tsp vanilla
For the chocolate drizzle:
¼ cup dairy free dark chocolate chunks
1 tsp coconut oil
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper or grease it.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set Aside.
In a large mixing bowl, add ¾ cup chocolate chips and 2 tbsp coconut oil. Melt together in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds for the first minute, then every 10-15 seconds until completely melted. Then add in the tahini, eggs, sugar, instant coffee, and vanilla. Beat together until well combined.
Add in the dry ingredients to the bowl of wet ingredients. Stir just until completely combined. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for 20-23 minutes. Just until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
Let brownies cool for 15 minutes in the dish. Meanwhile, prepare the drizzle by adding the remaining chocolate chunks and coconut oil to a small bowl and microwaving in the same manner as before until melted.
Drizzle melted chocolate onto the brownies, cut and serve!
