Smoky Maple Air Fried Salmon with Roasted Green Beans

Smoky Maple Air Fried Salmon with Roasted Green Beans

Smoky Maple Air Fried Salmon with Roasted Green Beans...because who doesn’t love a little sweet and savory situation? Flavored with smoked paprika, some garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper, and just a touch of sweetness from brown sugar and maple syrup, the salmon is absolutely mouthwatering. The outside is crisped to perfection from the air fryer and the flavors are phenomenal. It’s bound to be your new go-to salmon recipe.

Smoky Maple Air Fried Salmon Recipe

Let’s talk about the salmon first. Honestly, I think this recipe really is my new favorite salmon recipe. The seasoning is so good, and air frying it really is a game changer. The smokiness comes from the smoked paprika, and the rich sweetness comes from the brown sugar and maple syrup. A match made in heaven. The air frying gets the outside of the salmon niiiice and crispy, while keeping the inside tender and flaky. Not to mention, the sugar caramelizes on top to create an almost crystalized sweet and smoky top layer.

While we’re on the topic of salmon, I just want to briefly touch on the sourcing of it. I won’t be evangalistic about it, but I would highly recommend trying to buy sustainably sourced, wild caught salmon, if you are able. Our oceans and earth will appreciate the benefits of sustainability, and our body will appreciate the benefits of wild caught.

Air Fryer Salmon Recipe with Green Beans

Okay, now how about those green beans! They are SO easy and simple, and seriously a favorite in my household. Which is saying something, because my boyfriend is not fond of green vegetables, and he was eating them straight from the baking sheet before I could plate them. Tossed in olive oil with some garlic salt and pepper, these green beans are roasted to the ideal tender texture and they’re so unbelievably flavorful. Seriously, if you have a picky veggie eater (or rather, non-eater) on your hands, you gotta give these a try.

Smoky Maple Salmon and Roasted Green Beans

The roasted green beans and crispy air fried salmon come together to create an absolutely delicious meal. Not to mention, it’s hella healthy. Healthy fats, high protein, low carb (if that’s your vibe)...hard to beat that. Serve it up as is, or with some rice on the side. I like to meal prep this one and have extras for a quick and easy lunch throughout the week. Trust me, you’re going to be having this one on repeat.
